About Me

Born in Brooklyn, New York on November 9th.  Moved to Puerto Rico when I was 12 years old, where I continued my education in the field of computers. So I am fluently bilingual in both languages, English and Spanish.  In Puerto Rico, I worked for a small company installing P.O.S. (Point Of Sales) Systems for supermarket, restaurants and retail stores.  In 1985 while pursuing my dreams to progress, I moved to Houston so that I can expand my knowledge with a larger company in the field of P.O.S. (Point Of Sales) Systems.  In 1987 my interests continued to peak trying to expand my knowledge in the field of computers which brought me to Dallas, where I started working for a Novell Platinum Reseller building computers, installing software and training customers.

In 1992, an opportunity was offered to me when I began my career at Microsoft. While at Microsoft, I have supported various operating systems such as:
  • MS-DOS
  • Windows 3.1
  • Windows for Workgroups
  • Windows NT 3.x
  • Windows 2000 Advanced Server
  • Windows 2003 Advanced Server
  • SNA Server 4.0 (connectivity to mainframes)
  • NLB (Network Load Balancing)
  • HPC (High Performance Computing)
  • Windows 2003 Advanced Server Cluster Service
  • Windows 2008 Failover Clusters
Some of my other roles and responsibilities at Microsoft have been:
  • Beta Engineer for several products
  • Technical Account Manager for Latin America
  • Senior Support Escalation Engineer for Premier, U.S. National (USNAT) and 3rd Tier Enterprise customers
In my previous role as a Senior Support Escalation Engineer some of my responsibilities were, serving as a Mentor for 25 Frontline Support Engineers over MSN Instant Messenger, handling incoming phone calls for Critical Situations (CRITSIT) cases and writing blogs all in the SME (Subject Matter Expert) area of Failover Clusters.

Now my primary focus as a Premier Field Engineer (PFE),  is to provide technical leadership for Premier customers around the world and to promote health in their IT environments through onsite, remote and dedicated support services. As part of Customer Service and Support (CSS), PFE partners with Commercial Technical Support and Enterprise Services to strengthen the Microsoft Services Field Engineering capability worldwide.
